Terms of Service

The agreement between you and JamHubs. Written to be read — plain language, no traps.

Effective August 3, 2026 · See also Privacy Policy

The short version:be family-friendly, only perform music you have the right to perform, keep 70% of what fans pay you, and don't abuse anyone. Tips are gifts and are final. If a ticketed show never goes live, tickets refund automatically. Break the content rules and our moderation system will remove you. This summary is not the agreement — the numbered sections below are.

1. Who We Are And What This Covers

JamHubsoperates jamhubs.com (the “Service”), a live-streaming platform where performers broadcast music, theater, comedy, karaoke, and jam sessions, and where viewers watch, chat, tip, and buy tickets. These Terms govern your use of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Your privacy is covered separately by our Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You must be at least 18 years old to receive money — that includes performer earnings, promoter commissions, and bounties. You must be legally able to enter contracts where you live, and you must not be barred from the Service by a prior ban.

3. Your Account

Accounts require a username, a stage name, and a password. Your username is also your room address (jamhubs.com/watch/your-username) and cannot be changed.

We do not collect an email address at signup, which means we cannot reset your password or recover your account if you lose it. Store your password somewhere safe. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so don't share your credentials.

One person may hold one account. Creating additional accounts to evade a ban, inflate promoter rewards, or manipulate earnings is prohibited.

4. Content Rules — Family-Friendly, Always

JamHubs is a family-friendly performance platform. The following are prohibited in streams, chat, song titles, stage names, bios, and anywhere else on the Service:

  • Sexual, adult, or sexually suggestive content, including nudity and solicitation
  • Slurs, hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, or encouragement of self-harm
  • Violent, graphic, or gratuitously disturbing content
  • Illegal activity, or promotion of it
  • Impersonating another person, performer, or business, and any form of fraud
  • Spam, unsolicited advertising, off-platform payment solicitation, malware, or scraping
  • Content involving minors in any unsafe or exploitative way

You keep ownership of what you create. By posting or streaming, you grant JamHubs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, transmit, display, and reproduce that content solely to operate and promote the Service. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies we must retain for legal, safety, or backup purposes.

5. Music Rights — Your Responsibility

This is the obligation performers most often overlook, so we state it plainly: you are responsible for having the rights to every piece of music you perform or play.

JamHubs does not provide backing tracks, sheet music, lyrics, or any licensed music catalogue. In Karaoke Mode you supply your own backing tracks, and before enabling it you must affirm that you hold the rights to them. That affirmation is recorded with your account.

Performing cover songs may require licences from performing-rights organisations. Where JamHubs holds blanket licences we will say so publicly; where it does not, the obligation is yours. Playing commercial recordings as a substitute for performing is prohibited.

6. Money — Tips, Tickets, And The 70/30 Split

Performers keep 70% of every tip and every ticket sale. JamHubs retains 30%, which covers streaming infrastructure, bandwidth, payment processing, moderation, and operating the Service. There are no other platform fees and no token currency — amounts are in real dollars.

Tips are gifts and are final. They are voluntary payments to a performer and are not refundable.

Tickets grant access to one performance. Once the performer has gone live, tickets for that performance are final, whether you watched a minute or the whole show. If a ticketed performance is cancelled without ever going live, every ticket for it is refunded automatically and in full — no forms, no waiting. Full details in our Refund Policy.

Beta notice: while the Service operates in beta, wallets hold simulated funds and no real money changes hands. Balances accrued during beta carry no cash value and may be reset before real payments launch. We will announce clearly before that changes.

Taxes are your responsibility. JamHubs does not provide tax advice and may be required to report payments to tax authorities.

7. Promoter Program

Every account can share a referral link. If someone signs up through yours, you earn a commission equal to 10% of the platform's share of what they spend, for 12 months from their signup, plus a one-time $25 bounty when a performer you recruited completes their third show.

Commissions are paid from the platform's 30% — never from a performer's earnings and never from a fan's wallet. If a purchase is refunded, the related commission is reversed.

Self-referral, fake accounts, and any scheme to manufacture referrals or bounties are prohibited and will result in forfeiture of promoter earnings and possible termination.

8. Moderation And Enforcement

An automated moderator reviews chat. Depending on severity it may block a message, time you out of a room, or ban your account. Accumulated violations lead to an automatic account ban. Performers may appoint moderators for their own rooms, who may time out, ban, and unban viewers there.

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and we may do so without prior notice where the conduct is severe. Automated systems make mistakes — if you believe an action was wrong, contact us at admin@jamhubs.com or through our contact page and a human will review it.

9. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to admin@jamhubs.com that identifies the work, identifies the material and where it appears, gives your contact details, and states in good faith that the use is unauthorised and that your notice is accurate.

We remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers. If your content was removed in error you may send a counter-notice to the same address.

10. Availability And Termination

The Service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted streaming, and outages, maintenance, and third-party failures happen. We may change or discontinue features at any time.

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users. Sections covering money already transacted, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

11. Disclaimers And Limitation Of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

JamHubs is a platform. Performances are created by users, not by us, and we do not endorse them. We are not responsible for disputes between users.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JAMHUBS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID OR EARNED THROUGH THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.

You agree to indemnify JamHubsagainst claims arising from your content, your performances, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms — including claims that your performance infringed someone's rights.

12. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms. When we make material changes we will post the updated version with a new effective date and, where the change affects your rights, ask you to accept it again. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept it.

13. Contact
